Description:
Provenance: Andrew Johnstone and Mitchell King built the inn. | Architectural Note: The inn is an example of the popularity of the picturesque mode in nineteenth century Flat Rock. It is a three-story, hip-roofed structure, with lattice-framed arches. | Historical Note: The building is claimed to be the oldest operating inn in the state, and the building's contractor, H.T. Farmer, later served as its innkeeper.
